Come Buddy Walk with Us!

We are walking in the Buddy Walk to show our support for the more than 350,000 individuals with Down syndrome in the United States. We want to do our part to make sure that each individual is given every opportunity to reach their full potential.

While it's true that the Buddy Walk is a fundraiser, we are not looking for a cure like so many other walks and runs are. We are looking to build a COMMUNITY for our children that accepts them. To that end, it is so much more important to us that you ATTEND than that you donate. Not local? We can help you find a Buddy Walk in your part of the U.S. -- they are all over and usually happen in September. Please spend a day in solidarity with us. Stand with us. Tell your town that you can see us and our kids.

Where does the money go? Every dollar we raise will help ensure that each individual with Down syndrome in the United States will be able to do just that. Last year alone, over $6.5 million dollars was raised nation-wide for local and national education, research and advocacy programs.

Your involvement in the Buddy Walk -- by walking with us or by sponsoring us -- will make steps for a brighter tomorrow for all individuals with Down syndrome.

Thank you for supporting us -- and all individuals with Down syndrome.
